Good Information

I never thought my belly could be this big but it is getting even bigger. I am amazed by the skins ability to strech, but I am praying that it will go back to normal after a couple of months. The picture posted with this blog is from this morning.

I had a doctors appointment this morning and it seemed to go well. They swaped to see if I had a strep B infection and the checked my cervix. The cervix is still closed but the doctor said that is normal because I still have a full month left in the pregnancy. She also said the baby is in the right postion but still has to move down some more. Dr. Williams said she will induce my labor between the 23rd and 26th of May but not on the 25th because her son is graduating High School.

This past weekend Dean, Melody, and I went to Talladega, Alabama for the Nascar race. That was deffinetly a new experience. There were so many people there and it was very loud. I deffinetly would like to go again but would perfer to not be at the begginning of the 9 month of the pregnancy. There was a lot of walking to do and Dean was hoping that I would go into labor, but I kept telling him that it was a little to early. The race was eventful and fun, althought Dale Earnhardt Jr. did not win. He came in 7th, so it wasn't to bad.

We also found out some new information today. Dean sent a letter to a congressman in Georgia about the problem we were having about him not being able to stay back until the baby was born. The were going to let him stay back only til the 31st of May. We sent a letter telling him the situation and a letter from the doctor. Today his unit received the begginning paperwork from the congressman. Dean's Cpt was not very happy with him for this, but we did not see any other way to get him to stay back. His Cpt and the unit Commander then told him there was a policy called Baby plus 3. This means he will be able to stay back untill the baby is born but then he will leave 3 days after or on the next flight to Iraq. Now if his commanders would have just gave us all this information before instead of jerking us around there wouldn't have been any problems. If the baby is born before the 31st though, he will still leave on the 31st, But we just thank God that he will get to see the birth.

That is all the information I have for now but if I find out any new information, I will let everyone know. And for all of you who read this blog, Dean and I still haven't chosen a middle name for Jolie, so if you have any ideas let us know.

Love,

Teresa & Jolie

Hi Teresa & Dean,

Love to read all about your experience with your pregnancy -- it's getting very close now! Glad that Dean will be here for the birth -- looking forward to "those" pictures. The bassinet looks beautiful -- glad you're starting the 4th generation for us!

Sara and I have decided that 'Jolie Lynn' goes well together (after your favorite cousin, of course)!! =) We can't wait to hear of the birth and see pictures, but we are really looking forward to spending a whole week with you and Jolie! Good luck with everything, and we will talk to you soon!!

Love,
Aunt Sandy

Hey dearie! It already feels like its been months since I talked to you on the phone..but its only been since Monday. You look great and so does the baby stuff that is ready. I told ya to just wait and the heartburn would come! Try the Tums "smoothies" They go down a little easier...esp when you are eating them by the handful every hour or so. Not as chalky or gritty as reg. tums. Trust me. Tums was my only diet for about 8 1/2 months!! I'm really glad that Dean is going to be home for you and baby. I just wish he could stay longer. The first few days is the most special part BUT its only the beginning. Call me if you need me! LOVE YOU GUYS!
